Hi Jim, Interesting how our brains connect the dots sometimes… was the bound book “Fifty Shades” by any chance?
As an aspiring bookbinder I’m curious about the press itself? Who the manufacturer is? Do you know a U.S. vendor? Any information would be appreciated.

Heh. No, it isn’t “50 Shades”.
The press is of Dutch origin (take a look at the larger image and you can see the name), which I have had for about 25 years. No idea whether or not it is currently available anywhere.
